He says it is easy to use, and the battery life is great. The screen is very easy to see, but it goes black after only a few seconds and you have to keep pressing buttons to see the screen.I have had mine for almost a year and have had no issues with it. I can delete and add music with ease, i can listen to the radio, I have downloaded an audio book without problems, and i can carry pictures around. The only feature I have not tried is the ebook reader. I think the screen is way to small for my eyesight to focus so I haven't even tried it. My only complaint is the headphones that come with the unit are uncomfortable and are not very good quality. I purchased a different set of headphones and now the sound is amazing!Unfortunately, it is also rather new and hasn't been thoroughly tested because of its' recent appearance on the market. Less than 3 weeks into use the OS on the device crashed, catastrophically. It doesn't turn on, won't respond to charging or being plugged into the computer, nor reset as stated in the manual. It is effectively dead. Having spoken to the Manufacturer, they claim my device is defective.I won't recommend it until a suitable trial and testing period for this release has been conducted and passed. Its pretty simple and you just basically transfer files. One for my sister and two for me and they have lasted over three years. However, if you are wanting a high end, do-all media player, this is not it. You get what you pay for. There have been posts saying there is no shuffle or repeat option, but there is, you just have to search for it as the instruction booklet is about useless. From there you can choose normal, repeat one, folder, repeat folder, repeat all, RANDOM (sorry to put all caps but this is your shuffle, and I don't have a bold option.), or intro. But again, past having to fumble through the options to get it to do what I want, again useless booklet, I would recommend this product.Sorry, we failed to record your vote.

0 out of 5 stars This player has a good sound, and it's capable to store 4gb and anyone can buy it. I know an Ipod has more storage space, I have like 90gb inside my music folder but I don't even listen to all the music I have on 4GB so carrying a 160GB ipod would be a waste, because in my case I already have my favorites songs so 4GB is too much for me. I've been using it for more than a month by now and had no problems. Just make sure you push the earphones into the plug until everything is inside; I think I read a review here where a guy says that earphones don't go all the way in and I had the same problem but found out I just needed to push it a little bit more and the problem was solved. So there you go, another reason to buy this: cheap, does what you want, and IT WILL LAST!It feels a little flimsy when you take it out of the plastic packaging, especially if you are used to Apple products, but it is far easier to use. I have no doubt that it is less durable than some, but for the price is great. No need for software, though it does say otherwise (?). Just plug in, select the removalable drive, and drag files into the folders for each type (music, video, etc.). My only complaint is that neither of the units had a Music folder created already as shown in the directions. I had to go in and create the folder, which seemed strange. You can also use this for a portable flashdrive along with playing music and videos. Great cheap MP3 player. One last note (minor complaint): IT DOESN'T COME WITH A WALL CHARGER. Can charge through computer though. The description clearly states that it supports both Mp3 and WMA files, but we have been unable to do this. I e-mailed the company and we got no response. I was able to reach the company by phone (800-727-3592) and they said that if the file has any copywriting on it, you will not be able to download it. We are able to download mp3 files from the library, but there aren't very many of them.

Aside from the fact that it can contain a lot more music than a regular CD, it is so much easier to carry around because of its size. Today, there is so much more that an MP3 player can do than simply storing and listening to music. You can actually get to watch videos, enjoy radio music, look at photographs, or read out text files. Another amazing innovation is getting to make use of your player as a USB drive, which is now featured on a number of brands of MP3 players. Coby is one of those electronics brands that manufacture MP3 players with these very special features and powered by either a standard triple A battery or one with a built-in battery, which you can recharge. Here are a few simple instructions to get you started with your Coby MP3 player. Coby offers various MP3 player models, which come with their own specific instructions manuals. It is important to read these instructions carefully to maximize the use of the gadget’s whole capacity. Each of these manuals can be different from the other as each model has its own special ports and specifications. Aside from this, you must also have in your possession all of the gadgets that come with the player including its headphones, USB cable, and your computer, along with your manual. To begin loading in your music on your player, uncover the USB and plug it into the USB port of your computer. This will appear as a removable device on “My Computer.” When it does, you will need to double-click on it so that you are able to open up the particular folder that stores the music on your computer. Select the songs you wish to add to your MP3 player, then click and drag them to the folder of the device. This will copy the songs to the player. If you wish to listen to the music on your player, go to the arrow buttons located at the upper area of the player and go to the main menu seen on the player’s screen.

Press on the play button that will open up the option “Play music.” Simply press on the play button again to get your music to start. Adding videos or pictures on you MP3 player is another thing you could do. It really is quite simple, much like the process for transferring music files. First, plug in your MP3 player into your computer. Proceed to open up its photo file, and click and drag your selected photographs into your MP3 player. You can also systematize these pictures by creating folders for them if you wish. By knowing how to use your player.
